REVIEW:

Week 2 leading to Baptisms we learned what it means to be "Fully Alive."

READ EPHESIANS 2:1-10

Too many people are living life as the Walking Dead - No purpose, no passion!

Jesus has called us to live life to the fullest as a part of his movement. To do this we must Receive the Gospel and Release our old way of life.

What does it mean to Receive the Gospel?

Ephesians says that Salvation is a GIFT given by the Grace of God alone. There is nothing that we can do to earn it, we can only choose to receive.

A few people share about when you decided to Receive Jesus through Faith.

Many people who have already believed have fallen back into living in their old ways. This can take someone who has been made alive in Christ and cause them to continue walking like they are still spiritually dead.

What would it look like to Release your old ways of life?

What is one pattern or habit that you have not been able to let go of?

How would making this change actually affect your life, relationships, work, etc.

APPLY:

Living life to the fullest is a rare thing in our society. The world pushes us to be "unique" and "special" by doing the EXACT same things everyone else is doing! It does not even make sense!

Scripture points us to the real path to Life - Receive and Release.

If you have never Received the gift of Salvation through Jesus, commit to spending time every day this week considering what that would mean to your life. There is nothing more important in your life than what you decide about Jesus. Your Life Team is there to love you and support you through your spiritual journey - no strings attached. Do not hesitate to lean on them while you consider Jesus!

If you are already a Believer, what do you need to release?

Name one specific thing you are wanting to release - an old habit, pattern, or worldview that you need to let go to live your fullest life!

PRAY:

Spend some time praying for each other as you seek to Receive and Release.

Pray for next weeks Baptism service and for all the people who will take that step of declaring their faith publicly.
