Series: Walk It Talk It
Message: Walk It Talk It
REVIEW:
In 2 Corinthians 5 Paul uses common political language to describe the life of a Jesus follower:
Reconciliation - Making an enemy of the Kingdom an ally
Ambassador - A representative of the Kingdom on a specific assignment to speak on behalf of the King
Paul did not call us mere inhabitants of the Kingdom - he called us Ambassadors and our job is to bring reconciliation to those who are not yet friends of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Sitting around and talking about our faith does virtually nothing to push the Movement forward. we must walk it out.
APPLY:
How does viewing yourself as an ambassador of God change your view of 'religion'?
What does it mean to you that we speak and act on behalf of our King, Jesus?
Who in your life do you know is in need of reconciliation with God? (Be specific)
This week, what is one way that you can begin to walk out your faith with the person/people you listed above?
PRAY:
Anyone can talk a big game! It takes a courageous person to begin to walk out their faith! Pray for yourself and your team to have that courage. Ask the Holy Spirit to present opportunities and ask God to help you grow in your awareness of the Spirit. Pray for reconciliation in the lives of the people you know who need it.
