Genesis: 10-11Babel

The story about the tower of Babel recounts God’s intention that people scatter over the whole earth to govern it. The narrative tells us that different languages served God’s purposes for us to scatter. This story also reminds us that people sometimes seek fame by uniting together. There is nothing wrong with uniting together to accomplish something good. But it is not good to unite together in resistance against God’s purposes.
