Genesis 7 Take Sin Seriously

This sobering narrative about a great flood conveys the message that God takes sin seriously, and so should we. God does not prefer to judge sin. He prefers for people to believe him and walk with him so they will do the right thing. The flood story suggests that though it might seem at times like God lets wickedness flourish, there is a limit to his patience and tolerance. It is wise to look at our lives and to take sin seriously.
