Genesis 2: One

After each aspect of creation, God saw it was good. But there was one part of creation God determined was not good. “It is not good for the man to be alone” (v. 18). That means even before sin entered the picture, God created people with an innate desire to resolved loneliness by pursuing another person. And God desires that a man and a woman with different backgrounds, personalities, experiences, and expectations would become ONE. The goal of every marriage is oneness. When we grow in oneness, we calm and resolve the feelings of loneliness wired into the fabric of our being. Be one.
