Genesis 1 Good and Blessed

When God created, his Spirit hovered over something formless and void and he made it formed and full. It became good. Light is good. Space and water and land are good. Vegetation is good. Celestial stars and planets are good. The birds, fish, and animals are good. And then God made people, male and female, in his own image to govern over his good creation. And God created us good, too. We are good. You are good. And God blessed us to help us govern over his good creation. And when God blesses something good, he makes it “very good” (v. 31). When God blesses something good, he makes it better. Be blessed.
